Water & Force-Main Boring in the Coastal Bend
Water is the Coastal Bend's strategic project: a semi-arid coast serving heavy industry has pushed the region into a new-supply era — desalination and industrial-supply programs at the channel's edge — while the city and district systems run the standing menu: transmission under widening corridors, force mains between plants, renewals beneath the older grid, and the extensions Portland's and the north shore's growth keep ordering. We pull fused HDPE and fusible PVC on profile, fusion certs in the submittal, testing to the owner's standard — fused product being what expansive clay demands of anything it's allowed to hug.
The coastal plain's flatness makes force mains live on their drilled grade, so rod-by-rod confirmation on grade-critical shots is the standing proof, and alignments the ground won't let HDD honestly hold get flagged at scope.
Marine-adjacent reaches run the wet program — dewatered pits, ballasted pulls, bay-grade containment — and the new supply projects' shoreline tie-ins bring that discipline to some of the region's most watched alignments.
